Vas started off as a newsletter covering mostly the activities of Bengal Institute for Architecture, Landscapes and Settlements, circulated internally and among the participants of various academic programs, public events and the friends of the Institute. This format continued until the issue-3.
From issue-4, Vas ventured into becoming a magazine that covers architecture, urbanism, art and related topics.
